Post Remediation Verification
Post Remediation Testing is essential to give you the piece of mind that your home or office is clear and that the professionals that performed the remediation, removed the mold.
When there is mold present, the mold spores are in the air and can land and grow on any surface so long as the conditions are favorable for their growth. Once it is confirmed that there is mold present, Mold Remediation is then performed to remove it. After the mold remediation is complete, Post Verification Testing is used to ensure that aren't any traces of mold or mold spores left behind that could potentially grow.
Post Remediation Verification is performed by a company separate from the one used to do the remediation process. This is the law in Florida and is to ensure that the results you receive are honest as they are being performed by a third party. The remediation company can perform their own internal testing to check their own work but it cannot serve as legal clearance of a property.
Post Remediation Testing is performed a day or two after the remediation process has been completed so that the results are not skewed by any other events and before replacing walls, cabinets or tiles to make sure no mold is being trapped behind the new structures that could potentially cause serious damage both structurally and financially.
